What your recovery looks like, day by day

1 to 2 Days

The treated area can feel swollen, warm, tender or a little firm for the first day or two after your Lemon Bottle session. That is completely normal, and it just means your body has started breaking down the fat.

Skip hot showers, saunas, tight clothing and pressure on the area for now, and try not to scratch it.
Start drinking plenty of water, around 2 to 2.5 litres a day, to help your body clear everything out.

3 to 7 Days

Over the next few days the swelling starts to go down, and any light bruising or tenderness usually begins to fade. The area might still feel a bit firm when you touch it, and that settles too.

From day two you can get moving again. A brisk 10 minute walk each day is a good place to start.
Keep eating well and avoid late night meals, since this helps your body work through the fat faster.

1 to 2 Weeks

By now most of the tenderness has settled and the area feels a lot calmer. The firmness and puffiness should look noticeably smaller.

If you are having more than one session, this is around when the next one fits, since we space them 7 to 10 days apart.
